China 3 Gorges Dam. 6th to 8th March

We left for the Three Gorges Dam on 6th March. It was a long journey from Wuhan; we need 4 hours and 30 min travelling time to travel from our campus to 宜昌 (Yi Chang).

Our 3 days adventure starts when we board the cruise 银月亮. We had to spend 3 days on board. Only able to alight at two areas. To my surprise, the cruise was quite spectacular and the beds were comfortable as well! The facilities in the room were quite simple; a LCD TV and toilet only. There aren’t much entertainment on the cruise, which I think is boo-boo of the entire trip.

The 1st barrage

Things on the cruise were more expensive as considered to those sold on land. However, we still end up with 5 bowls of instant noodles despite a heavy dinner. One of the enjoyable things we had was eating the instant noodles together on the deck. With the cold wind blowing through us coupled with hot noodles; could you imagine the feeling?
