Day 14:

Today we had a different lecturer for class. Our lecture today was about China culture. The teacher today was called 石老师. She was a very humorous and she added liveliness to the dreadful 8am class. 

She spoke very well english and was well comprehended by us. Also, today she brought us to a new shopping centre which is walking distance away from our classroom. She told us that there was a food court there and told us to have our lunch there as the food from the streets are not very hygenic and the oil used are 2nd or even 3rd class oil. Oil which are used by resturants then filtered and sold to the hawkers. 

But today, we had our lunch at Macdonalds as we heard from the locals that the foodcourt food is not very nice. I saw a ATM Machine at the shopping centre and decided to check my account value. I almost got a shock.. The amount inside is multiple of 4 of what i originally had. So shiok man.. Imagine thats what I had in SGD. Haha..

As we walked back to our apartment, we saw a commotion and we stopped by to join in the fun. We saw a guy using paint drawings to write out your name. I am sure everyone had seen it before in Singapore, but hesistated due to the price? Dun worry. . . It cost about 3 yuan here in China. Jian Wen did 2 for himself and his brother. Quite nice.. there were dragon, fish and sailboat in the drawing. I find that the name will look nicer if looked from far. If too near, you would find it hard to make out the name.
