Day 17: Results day. The truth is out.

It's really a scary day for us today. Today is the day that our semester results are out. I woke up at 0630 to check my handphone if there is sms from NP, as NP will sms us the exam results usually at that time. But the sms did not come in at 0630 and I am too lazy to crawl out of the bed to switch on my laptop. The 2nd time I woke up was at 0830. Then, there was a sms already. I was so excited when I was opening and reading the sms. I passed all my modules and progressed to year 2. 

However, the good news was soon overpowered by the bad news that came next. Vincent told us that he was dismissed from NP for failing too many modules. We advise him to appeal and maybe he have a chance. He tried calling the advisor but his HP was off, he called his office but no one answered. He even went down to the office and find him, but no one was around. I guess everyone went for a holiday to hide. I understand that it is not a good experience when you realise that everyone managed to make it but you did not. Vincent, I hope that you make it through the appeal and that we can be classmates again. I wish you luck in everything you do. 

Today was the dirst day we had lessons in the afternoon. So in the morning, we managed to catch up with some friends on msn and update each other, thus found out about Vincent's result. It wad quite warm today even though the weather report promised rain today. It's the second time we were cheated by it. I hope it will not rain tomorrow though, as we are going out to visit museum and theatre in Wuhan. Today class were delayed as the teacher was late today. We all waited outside the classroom for about 15 minutes. The teacher then rushed up and even forgot to draw the keys and forgot to bring up her bag which she left in the basket of her bicycle. 

During the lesson, the lecturer mentioned about dumplings, as she was talking about Dragon Boating Festival. The dumplings does look attractive and delicious and it made me thought of Grandma's dumpling. Initially I thought I will not have a chance to eat it this year as I am in China, then I heaved a sign of relief when the lecturer told us that the festival was in May. After lesson, we went to the DVD shop yesterday in search for another controller. This time is Jian Wen buying. But the shop will only have stock tomorrow. 

We went to buy dumplings after that. I tried the meat dumpling and seriously, honestly, really, not joking, it cant be compared to my Grandma handmade ones. It's supposed to be meat dumpling but when i finished the whole thing, I only felt 1 piece of meat in the entire dumpling. I am not joking man. It's really one piece.

We bought some maggie noodles and cup noodles in replacement of opposite street food. Tomorrow, we are going for an outing. I am not too sure of the details now. But I will be back tomorrow with more updates about the details and more PICS!
