Day 18: Outing!

An exciting string of events fall upon this very day.

Let me start off with the first item.

1) Sakura

We went to Wuhan University Sakura Garden to view the Sakura there. When we reach there, we were surrounded by a sea of white and pink. There were a lot of people queueing up to get their tickets but I think ours was pre-booked, so we managed to get in quite smoothly. We were given 2 hours to walk around the garden. Actually, there is nothing much to see inside. Because everything is the same. Wherever you go, you see the same view, same flower, same people. But there were variation of flowers though.

2) Snack street in Wuhan

We were brought to a well-known snack street in Wuhan. Inside the street, there were almost everything. One of the more common store were "Smelly Tofu". I think every 3-4 stalls apart, you can see a store selling smelly tofu. We tried 3 to 4 stores, one of them is really nice and delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I also tried the sugar coated strawberry. It was really fantastic. We really had a good time eating there. We were really full by the time we walked out of it.

3) 磨山东湖

It is one of the biggest lake in China. In this lake, We were given 2 hours OTOT. The tour guide left us behind to survive on our own. Instead of walking to the end to see the various attractions, we decided to hop on a boat in the lake. It's 50 yuan for 1 boat. Just nice 10 person can fit into 2 boat. We had fun on the lake splashing water at each other and racing against each other. Some of us got really wet during the ride.. I think it's due to "raining". Haha =D It was really a battle on the boat. Water were splashing all around.

4) Dinner @ Carrefour

We had Tepanyaki for dinner after very very very very long decision making time. We havent tried fresh oil for a long time. And the food looks very fresh as well. I felt that tonight's dinner is really worth it, and we are considering to go back there on Jian Wen's Birthday, which falls on 2nd April.

Pics will be uploaded on another post or you can view it on my Photobucket website.
